The romantic guesthouse Vogt is nestled between vineyards and forest on the edge of Offenburg. Offenburg is not for no reason called the gateway to the Black Forest, because from here, via the two Black Forest valleys of the Rench and the Kinzig, the direct access to the heart of the Black Forest takes place.
Offenburg is the ideal starting point for your holiday. The cities of Freiburg, Baden Baden and Strasbourg are easily accessible by car, as is the Europapark in Rust.

Europapark Rust
Germany’s largest leisure and theme park! On an area of around 950,000m2, visitors will be offered more than 100 attractions and shows in 20 themed areas. In addition to numerous hotels and restaurants, the Europapark’s resort includes the Rulantika adventure world – a water park of the highest class.
Vogtsbauernhöfe / Gutach
Experience on your tour of historic farms, as was used to, lived and worked in the Black Forest up to 600 years ago! The open-air museum Vogtsbauernhof is also aimed at children and families.

Triberg Waterfalls
A very special attraction are Germany’s highest waterfalls in Triberg. Foaming and roaring, the water of the Gutach plunges down into the valley in seven drops 163 m. The waterfalls are in the evening until approx. 22:00 illuminated and offer a fascinating sight.

Mummelsee / Schwarzwaldhochstraße
Lake Mummelsee is located at over 1000m directly on the Schwarzwaldhochstraße and is one of the most visited lakes in Beden-Württemberg. It is surrounded by steep and wooded mountain slopes and invites you to go hiking, pedal boating, strolling through the souvenir shops or for dizzling in one of the two restaurants.

Just beyond the border with France is the medieval town of Strasbourg. It is headquartered in the European Parliament and the Council of Europe. Strasbourg is known for its picturesque old town, the boat trip on the Ill – which runs from the European Parliament to the historic districts – the historic Strasbourg Cathedral as well as its many museums and theatres
